| 2010 年 《中国日报》登载多篇有关转基因大米的报道，在此综述如下。“ 2009 年 9 月，中国农业部静悄悄地给 2 个转基因水稻品种和 1 个转基因玉米品种发放了生物安全证书，这标志着中国成为世界上第一商业化种植转基因水稻的国家”，“两个转基因水稻品种 ( 华恢 1 号和汕优 63 号 ) 已经由中国农业部批准，进行大地种植试验 ”，“虽然转基因技术在过去的 50 年时间里有重大的突破，它的安全性仍然是有争议的。事实上，在转基因大米的故乡美国，仍然没有给它颁发安全证书。中国的一些专家怎么能说吃这种转基因大米是安全的和没有风险的”。 |

| In 2010, several pieces of information on GM rice were reported by China Daily as follows ：“ In September 2009,the Ministry of Agriculture quietly issued bio-safety certificates for two strains of genetically modified ( GM )rice and a corn strain, signifying that China is expected to be the first country to commercialize GM rice planting. ” . “ The two strains of GM rice (Huahui 1 and Shanyou 63) have been approved for field trails by the Ministry of Agriculture. ” . “ Though GM technology achieved great breakthroughs over the past five decades, its safety is still controversial. In fact, the United States , the homeland of GM rice, still has not issued any bio-safety certificate. How then can some Chinese experts be so confident of justifying the safety of GM rice ？ How can they say there are no risks ？”
