World grain output was 630 millions tons in 1950, 1.781 billions tons in 1990, 2.06 billions tons in 2000, 2.32 billions tons in 2011,Today in the world the supply and demand of grain keeps the basic equilibrium. The question is that there are huge difference between different countries, some of countries have limited to produce grain with surplus grain and a lot of plough land leave unused, but other countries have happened famine because of lack of enough plough land. Most of countries to be short of grain are mainly in Africa such as Ethiopia, and Iraq, Philipines etc. their problems to be solved easily, they lacks the money and technology, not plough land.(to be proofread)
