现在类似农业革命的前夜
Today symbolizes the eve of agricultural revolution

    大约在1万年前，即旧石器时代末，人口达到532万，比旧石器初期约12.5万的原人，增长42倍。新石器时代的人用磨制的方法制造石器，他们的食物不是靠采集和狩猎，主要是靠种植作物和饲养动物。此时的人类发生了巨大的飞跃，从食物的采集者变成了食物的生产者，这就是人类社会的农业革命。
    历史的经验是值得回忆的，世界5大发明从出现到形成产业都有一段艰辛的过程。人类的祖先从直立行走到打制石器经过了几百万年，从打制石器到磨制石器又用了几百万年的时间。我相信北京猿人中后期已经掌握了人工取火技术，从那时算起到火的广泛应用，也经历了几十万年的时间。我推测，我们的祖先很早就懂得，通过栽培植物和饲养动物可以获得食物的道理，但农牧业的出现却是几万年后的事情。早在希腊化时代的埃及，已经应用蒸汽作动力开关庙宇大门，但是把蒸汽作为动力，广泛应用于工业、交通、农业、军事等诸多领域却是工业革命以后的事情，时间又过去了2000年。这样推算下来，我的人造土壤技术需要多长时间才能形成产业呢，也许老天能告诉我。
    不过，我相信世界早晚要接受我的人造土壤技术，其时间不会拖得很长。因为世界人口增长是刻不容缓的，现在世界人口已经超过60亿，100亿、150亿、200亿到来的日子也为期不远了，人类正处在类似农业革命的前夜。

About ten thousand years ago it was the end of Old Stone Age which had 5.32 million of population, but at thebeginning of Old Stone Age it was 125 thousand of people. By comparison the population had increased by 42 times. In New Stone Age people made stone implement using grinding method and their food did not depend on collecting and hunting but the food was from planting the crops and raising the animals mainly. At that time human beings had made a huge leap from collecting food to producing food. This is called the Agricultural Revolution in human history.
Historical experience is worth recollecting. World five inventions have all had an arduous process from its appearance to forming an industry. It cost several million years from walking upright to forging stone implement by human ancestors. Also it cost several million years from forging stone implement to grinding stone implement. I believe that Peking Man had grasped the technique of making fire at their middle and late period of life, but from that time to using fire widely also cost several hundred thousands of years. I speculate that our ancestry understood the principle to get food by planting the plants and raising the animals long time ago, but agriculture and animal husbandry appeared several ten thousand years later. Early Egyptians, when Greek governed it in about the third or fourth centuries B.C., had used steam as power to open and close the door of the temple. However it was more than 2000 years later during the industrial revolution when steam was used widely in industry and transportation and agriculture and military etc. By this inference I don’t know when my artificial soil technology will be industrialized. Perhaps God can answer me.
But I believe that the World will accept my artificial soil technology and it won’t be long. Because the world population is increasing rapidly and the world population exceeds 6 billion and then 10 billion, 15 billion, 20 billion in no time. Don’t solve the problem of land resources, human beings have no way out, especially China. So I say that human beings are in the eve of the agricultural revolution.
