    媒体说，目前我国的粮食库存消费比远远高于17%-18%，这一国际公认的粮食安全最低库存消费比，我国大约是22%，即3000亿斤左右，大约是世界平均水平的2倍。我国国家粮食储备库总容量约为3.5亿吨，食用植物油储备库总容量约为1000万吨。世界产粮大国，在和平时期都不愿意储存大量粮食，很麻烦且成本很高。联合国官员说，2008年世界粮食储备已经降至30年来最低点，只能维持53天，而2007年是169天。我国的问题是粮食不能自给，一旦世界发生突变，或者是大的战争，或者是全球性的自然灾害，我们在国际市场买不到粮食，到那时就苦了中国的老百姓。

Medium said recently our ratio of storage and consumption is 22% far higher than 17%-18% ,which is recognized grain safety, about 150 millions tons and is world average level 2 times. Our total storeroom capacity for grain and edible oil are separately 350 millions tons and 10 millions tons. In the peacetime world grain superpower don’t like to reserve a lot of grain because of trouble thing and higher cost. According to UN official said that world grain reserve in 2008 reaches the lowest point after 30 years only keeps 53 days, in 2007 is 169 days. Our problem is that we are not self-sufficient in grain once world war or natural famine can be happened and we can not bay any grain, at that moment Chinese people will be suffering.(to be proofread)
