    农业的基本任务是解决人民的吃饭问题。我国大陆、台湾、香港、澳门人口加起来近14亿，科学家预测，我国的人口将增加到15亿。一个人就是一部吃饭的机器，这部机器一经运转起来，就不会停下来，直至生命结束。大家想一想，13-15亿人口每天要消费多少食物。保障食物供应，这是世界各国政府的责任，在我国更是如此。由此可见，农业是多么的重要，中国人民的吃饭问题又是多么难以解决。

Our agricultural basic task is to solve the problem of people food. Chinese population including Mainland, Taiwan, Hongkong, Macao is close to 1.4 billions, the future Chinese population expected by Chinese experts will be 1.5 billions. One person is a being food machine, 1.5 billions of machines run at once and have never been stopped until their life end. All of governments in the world need to supply people's food particularly in China. Because of Chinese large population, agriculture in China is the most important and different problem to solve.
