In 2012.12.19 People's Daily said that up to the end of November China supplied 133400 ha of land for real estate in 2012, the areas where is building houses are 261600 ha, the areas where is not finishing houses are 468700 ha, inside the areas where is building are 334600 ha. In China people maybe not know what ha is meaning. If we make a conversion of ha into mu, people can see that 468700 ha＝468700×15 mu＝7.0305 millions mu. Everybody can understand that only this figure is close to 10 millions mu. If we take a plus with other consumptions of land areas including urbanization, industrialization, high railway, high express, defense, land purchased by developers and so on. The land consumptions are very huge. It is known that these land are mainly more flat and fertile soil. As far as know in recent years the investment of real estate in China is about 5-6 trillions￥, so the real estate becomes the first big industry. Up to 2020, I am afraid no land to sell. How should we take that preserve our cultivated land whicn should arouse more and more people's attention.
