The unique reason to respite GM rice as food is its edible safety to be not proved. According to a spokesman for the National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement at Huazhong Agricultural University about GM rice―Huahui 1 and Bt Shanyou 63 developed by Chinese scientists he said“Rats fed GM rice for eight days developed no biological differences from rats fed natural rice over the same duration”. According to local media, scientists at the laboratory have also eaten the GM rice they have been working on for years and have suffered no health problems.
Hereby scientists affirmed GM rice is safe as like even water.
? In another hand a lots of people have not agree with that views, people have reason to maintain that do not allow commercially GM rice planting until their safety will be proved.
