    中华民族是一个爱好和平的民族，从未侵略过别人，我们却遭受了百年的屈辱史。如果我们把“推广人造土壤技术和发展人造土壤产业”作为我们的基本国策，在960万平方公里的国土面积上，依靠自己的资源和力量，完全可以解决未来15―20亿同胞的衣食住行问题，而且比世界任何的地方都好。对此，我是坚信不移。

Chinese is a peaceful nationality, it has never invaded the others, but we had ever suffered the humiliated history in one hundred years. If we put“popularization of artificial soil technology and development of artificial soil industry”as our national basic policy, within 9.6 millions square kilometers of our territory, we depend on self-dependent resources and abilities to solve basic necessities of life for 1.5―2 billion compatriots and will be better than others in the world. Withal, I believe it is true.
