定义∑（西格马）人群
The Definition of ∑ People
    在以后的土业园地中，我要经常提及我国社会5个层面上的人物，为了减少文字上的重复，我把∑（西格马）人群定义为：数以百计的（两院）院士，数以千计的首席科学家和学科带头人，数以万计的名教授和著名的专家学者，数以十万计的社会各界知名人士以及数以百万计的公务人员。在我的文章中，你一见到∑人群，首先要联想到有5个层面上的人物，至少要记住前面3个层面上的人物，它代表着两院院士，著名教授、专家学者，这些人员都是我国的社会精英，他们在我国的社会生活中，起着非常重要的作用，他们代表我国的主流社会和上层社会，他们的学术思想，就是我国社会的主流学术思想，也就是正统的学术思想，一般人都不去问津。
在我的文章中，你经常会看到有“20年”、“200年”、“20年以后”、“200年以后”、“2000年以后”、“4000年”、“10000年”和“20万元”、“20亿元”、“1万亿元”、“200万亿元”、“1万亿美元”、等字样。年代都是从2000年算起，无论是人民币还是美元，都是2000年的币值。

定义∑（西格马）人群
The Definition of ∑ People

In order to diminish repeating some words in my following articles, I have defined ∑ people in five layers in our society as a crowd of Chinese people including hundreds of academicians, thousands of chief scientists and discipline leaders, ten thousands of famous professors, experts and scholars, hundred thousands of public figures as well as millions of official business personnel. They are flowers in our country ,and the mainstream and upper layers in the Chinese society. Their academic ideas are the main leading academic ideas in our country.
In my articles, you often read such as “20 years”、“200 years”、“in 20 years”、 “in 200 years”、 “in 2000 years”、“4000 years”、“10000 years”and“200 thousand Yuans”、“2 billion Yuans”、“1 trillion Yuans”、“200 trillion Yuans”、“1 trillion dollars”and so on. Here, the beginning time is the year of 2000 and the value of currency was the value of currency in 2000, whether it is Chinese Yuan or US dollar.
