| On June 10,2009,the Chinese Academy of Sciences released “Innovation 2050: Scientific revolution and China'sfuture”, in which series of reports described up to 2050 the road map of developing science and technology in China including 8 large systems. This news was announced by Director of Planning Strategy Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The following day, on People's Daily, it was reported by Zhao Yongxin(People's Daily journalist)(赵永新 人民日报记者) that Lu Yongxiang , Vice-chairman of Standing Committee of NPC and President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(路甬祥 全国人大常委会副委员长 中科院院长)introduced that more than 300 scientists including nearly 60 academicians had been divided into 18 groups in order to determine clearly the important aspects of science and technology, important scientific problems,? key technologies and the measures to realize the goals. These will influence the Chinese modernization process up to 2050.Since My Web was created on June 22, 2009, I have done seven issues of F.AST which belong to articles of introduction. From this issue it is the beginning to discussions on academic problems. I choose the road map written by the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS)as an introduction because it is not an official document of the government, every one can have enough space to show his academic views. On another hand the series of reports relate to all scientific domains and the time span reaches up to 2050 and will be published in Chinese and English, so it is easy for every body in the world to have a look at our discussions.
I will write ten issues of F.AST recently(F-008-F-017) to review the road map and I hope readers give me more andmore review and criticism.
